WHY NOT? FORUM 7.0 Ayala Museum, Makati City, August 22, 2009The 7th Why Not? Forum held in August 22, 2009 at the Ayala Museum was dubbed as “WHY NOT A REIMAGINATION? IMAGINE THE NEW FILIPINO”.
The forum was a conversation on qualities posited as characteristics of a Filipino in the 21st century: Homebound, Not Outbound; Competitive, Not Complacent; Global Perspective, Not Regional Mindset; Renegades, Not Robots. It was a very timely theme as the Filipino people were at that time at a crossroads, reimagining their national identity as they look towards an emerging future.
The speakers included such respected Filipinos in their respective fields of endeavors pushing for a reimagined nation. Such were Paco Sandejas, Major Dennis Eclarin, Risa Hontiveros, Howie Severino
